My Final Post on France For A While

Hello readers.  I've finally, one-month post injury, forced myself to write an account of my trip to Dijon and how I wound up in the hospital.  It is posted at my other blog: aloveofwriting.blogspot.com and I hope you'll take a moment to read it.  If anything, it may help you prepare for your pending or planned trip.

We're not planning a return to France for at least a year, perhaps even two.  So my next blog entries will be about Hawaii and the mainland.  We hope you'll continue to enjoy reading this vacation blog spot, and refer your friends to it.  We've had some wonderful trips into Europe and certainly look forward to more in the future.  For the time being, it's time for rest and rehabilitation.

Aloha, Lennie

  1. Lennie,
Hope to hear more on how you are recovering. I am in France now. Visited Benodet and Carnac in Bretagne. Going home to the Boston area on Sunday.

  2. Merci, Lille! I'm already going through withdrawal and although I'm still in a non weight bearing mode after 2-1/2 and another 6 weeks to go until I can start rehab, I'm missing France so much. I doubt it will be so long as one or two years. Can't wait to read your blog. Enjoy! Be careful where you walk and make sure you take out insurance! À tout à l'heure à vous aussi, Lennie

  3. It was great to hear you are recovering so well. I know the realities of French life. I remind myself that this is another culture and they have their ways that may seem sometimes ridiculous to us but it makes sense to them. A while back I had ACL surgery on my left knee from a skiing accident and physical therapy was the most important thing. Keep up the good work and let us know how your are.
    Bonne Chance et à tout à l'heure mon ami!Lille
